Race for Life
A group of the staff got together on Sunday 1st July 2007 to take part in a 5km race. This was part of “Race for Life” in aid of Cancer Research UK, which held similar events across the country this summer.
The 5km course, which attracted more than 1,500 women, to the sports grounds in Lancaster was awash with numerous pink items of clothing and headwear. We all completed it in under 50 minutes, which we were very proud of. What a very worthwhile cause and a great result, as we aimed to raise about £1,000 between us and got up to £700.00 Thank you to all who sponsored us.
