Race for life

Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us now you could help more people survive cancer.

Following our success with fundraising for “Think Pink” Cancer Research day at the office last year, a group of the staff are getting together to do the “Race for Life” in aid of Cancer Research UK on Sunday 1st July 2007 in Lancaster.

The 5km course, which this year hopes to attract 1,500 women, will be to either run, jog or walk the course to help more people survive cancer. Should you wish to sponsor us please go to

'Think Pink' week

Our office was decked with pink balloons, ribbons and flowers in the month to "Think Pink".

The staff and management at Lakelovers went "pink" for the half term holidays weekend by wearing "Pink to Work" - from ties to hats, t-shirts and scarves, each person made their own effort in order to help raise funds for Cancer Research. It certainly lightened the mood for the arriving holidaymakers to our Bowness Office and we would like to take this opportunity to thank anyone who made a donation for an extremely worthy cause. We raised £109.50 which the management of Lakelovers have agreed to match, and the generosity of an Owner the total amount sent to Cancer Research has now risen to £250.00

We all certainly enjoyed the change in our office colour scheme for something so worthwhile.
