Millican - Essential Bags for Outdoor Adventure and Travel

Travel in Style

Receive a 20% introductory offer off all bags and accessories in the range at www.homeofmillican.com

We all deserve some well-earned R&R, whether that is in a quaint cottage, a rural retreat or a bustling town setting. And what better way to travel in real style, than with Millican bags - timeless design combined with modern functionality.

Founded in 2008 and based in the Lake District National Park, Millican creates timeless travel and outdoor bags and accessories.

The brand is inspired by the life and values of Millican Dalton, self-proclaimed “Professor of Adventure” and local legend, who lived a life of simplicity and self-sufficiency as a Lakeland mountain guide in the early 1900s. Moving from London to Cumbria, he traded a flat in the Big Smoke for a cave in Borrowdale Valley. In fact, he spent his entire life in the outdoors and was completely self-sufficient. Well, almost. He did make a weekly trek to a shop in Keswick for coffee. He even grew his own food and made his own clothing, tents and rucksacks.

Based on classic, functional styles, the Millican’s range includes Dave the Rucksack, Mark the Field Bag, Keith the Writer’s Bag, Harry the Gladstone Bag and James the Duffle. All named after friends and local heroes in and around Keswick.

Made using weatherproof organic cotton canvas, vegetable tanned leather and recycled polyester, the range includes rucksacks, overnighters, shoulder bags, washbags, cooler bags and accessories - using Herdwick wool for insulation and padding, as well as bridle leather moleskine notebook covers, tanned with oakbark from the Lake District.

Sign up to the Millican newsletter here and receive a 20% off introductory offer for any bags in the Millican range.
