Windermere Airshow

Lakelovers in recent years have been and continue to be regular sponsors of The Rotary Club of Windermere in conjunction with the annual Windermere Airshow.

The RAF Red Arrows each year enthral the visitors with their aerobatics in the skies above Lake Windermere. There are also displays by the Red Devils Parachute Team along with various other displays from Tornados, Hawks. Harriers and of course the Battle of Britain Memorial fly-past featuring a Dakota, Spitfire and Hurricane. This event normally takes place the last weekend in July.
