Entrance hall with curved staircase to the first floor, and the first sight of the view! A cosy but bright, living / dining room is beautifully presented with deep-cushioned furnishings, traditional window seat and warming open fire. A breakfast bar divides the stylish kitchen from the open plan living area. The double bedroom is stylish and complete with dressing table and window seat. The views can even be enjoyed from bed! The bathroom is a haven of indulgence, with coloured mood lighting and a jacuzzi bath with shower over.

Ambleside village is a delight to explore, dotted with traditional Lake District cottages and historic buildings such as the famous 'Little Bridge House'. The village centre is a delight for foodies - excellent cafes for lazy mornings, tempting delicatessens for stocking up your self-catering apartment, and superb restaurants including 'The Glass House' which is perfect for special occasions.
You'll find an abundance of scenic Lake District walks beginning in the village, and because Ambleside is a hub of outdoor expertise, you'll find plenty of route advice and tourist information on hand.
At the heart of the Lakes, Ambleside is a great base from which to explore the wider reaches of our National Park. Follow the A593 only a short distance to admire the blissful seclusion of the Langdale Valley, or continue on on to picturesque Coniston. Follow the A591 road north past tranquil Rydal Water and you'll reach historic Grasmere; this magical village is surrounded by the landscapes that inspired the poet William Wordsworth.
For a romantic Sunday drive, join the Kirkstone Pass road between Windermere and Ullswater. The scenery is breathtaking, and the Queen's Head at Troutbeck provides an excellent Sunday lunch en-route.
