The gardens are a dream, and the private furnished patio is perfect for soaking up the unique pace of life this area has to offer.

Location
This superb Lake District holiday cottage in Crosthwaite has a stunning rural location, off the beaten track but surprisingly convenient and easily accessible from the M6. You'll find a renowned and award-winning Lake District country pub, The Punchbowl, in Crosthwaite village, as well as a delightful old church to explore.

Crosthwaite is a small community in the north of the Lyth Valley, between Kendal and Lake Windermere. The area is renowned for its lush green landscapes, wonderful walks, peaceful country lanes, pretty woodlands and prized damson harvest - which gives rise to stunning damson blossom in spring.
Only a ten minute drive takes you past the Windermere Golf Club to bustling Bowness village on Lake Windermere's eastern shore, where you'll find sophisticated shops, endless boating activities, Lake District family attractions such as the World of Beatrix Potter, and a range of options for evening entertainment. From traditional Lakeland pubs to trendy tapas bars, cinema, theatre and nightclub, there's something for every taste.

From Bowness Bay, you can hop on a Windermere Lake Cruise to Ambleside or Lakeside - a great way to explore while soaking up the scenery.
