At the head of Easedale Valley overlooked by dramatic fells, this traditional 16th century Lakeland cottage commands breathtaking views in every direction. Better still, it's only 2 miles from the Lakeland magic of Grasmere village. Pronounced "Blinton', Blind Tarn Cottage is approached via a gated road through traditional Westmorland farm land. A path leads from the cottage to nearby Easedale Tarn and you need only don your boots to find fabulous walking routes on your doorstep, including those surrounding Rydal Water. The interior oozes country cottage charm, with old oak beams, deep-silled windows and antique furnishings. A magical self-catering retreat for up to 6 people.

Approach via rural road with parking outside the property. Entrance hall leads to cosy lounge, with old oak beams and sophisticated furnishings. Classic country kitchen with ample dining space. One double bedroom and bathroom to the ground floor. Upstairs to 2nd double bedroom and twin bedroom.

Location
The Lake District landscapes surrounding Grasmere village are famous for their part in William Wordsworth's much-loved poetry. In the area you'll find Dove Cottage, once Wordsworth's home and now open for the public to explore.
Grasmere village itself is a friendly Lakeland community with ample shops, cafes and art galleries displaying famous local watercolour artists and several restaurants including the Good Food Guide listed Jumble Room.
If you'd like to explore further afield, Grasmere is a great place to start. The A591 takes you north to Keswick, south to Ambleside and on to Windermere and Bowness.
