A holiday cottage in Langdale comes with very few neighbours - scattered villages with excellent local pubs (such as the Elterwater Inn or Old Dungeon Ghyll) are as busy as it gets. However, Ambleside village and Lake Windermere are only a few miles away with a wide range of shops, restaurants and attractions should you need something livelier to entertain you!
The Langdale Valley is overlooked by the famous Langdale Pikes, so keen walkers will find fantastic Lake District walking routes beginning on their doorstep.
