VisitEngland 4 star rated property

Recently transformed from quaint country cottage to 4 star holiday retreat, Kiln Cottage takes a romantic riverside location within walking distance of Ambleside village. You needn't leave the gardens to admire the views, but keen walkers will be spoilt by the choice of routes from the door of the cottage. A romantic retreat for couples or a homely base for families, within easy reach of all the delights of Ambleside and Lake Windermere's shores.

The owners regret that due to direct access to the river, this property is not suitable for babies or children under 12 years old.
