Private parking for 1 car. Private ground floor entrance via balcony to outer lobby then inner hall. Delightful living room with 2 deep-cushioned sofas, pine furniture and patio doors to a 2nd balcony overlooking Stock Ghyll gorge and the stream. Separate well-equipped kitchen. Twin bedroom and luxury power shower room on entrance level. Downstairs to the master king-size double bedroom with Victorian brass bed and en-suite bathroom.
This contemporary Ambleside holiday home is only a short stroll away from the northern shores of Lake Windermere, England's largest lake. Windermere Lake Cruises are a popular Lake District holiday attraction; stroll to Waterhead Pier and you can catch one of the famous steamers to Bowness or Lakeside. A great way to explore car-free.
Ambleside village centre is packed with tasty eateries and has a wide range of contemporary shops - from useful supermarkets to quirky gift stores. As the village is a popular base for walking in the Lake District, you'll also find a large number of expert outdoor clothing stores.
