Private parking for 3 cars. Ornate gothic entrance porch into the elegant lounge with polished oak floor, leather sofas and impressive sandstone fireplace with 'living flame' gas fire for ease. Modern shaker style kitchen with direct access to the dining room, again with stripped wooden floor. Upstairs to the 3 bedrooms; 2 doubles and 1 twin. One of the bedrooms has en-suite facilities, and there is a separate house bathroom with shower over bath.

Location
This unique Windermere self-catering property offers easy access to the lake shore, and also to the popular villages of Windermere and Bowness.
Windermere village centre is the closest place for stocking up the kitchen; there you'll find a large Booths supermarket, well stocked with the best local produce as well as everyday essentials. Windermere high street has a traditional butcher and several cafes and pubs, serving real Lakeland ale.
Bowness village is a busier tourist destination, just a couple of miles away. The village revolves around the boating activity of Bowness Bay, where hire boats come and go, and Windermere Lake Cruises depart regularly to Ambleside and Lakeside - explore without a car! Windermere Golf Club is located just outside Bowness village.
You'll also enjoy easy access by car or bus to other popular Lake District holiday destinations, such as Hawkshead (via the car ferry across Lake Windermere from Bowness), the Troutbeck Valley, Ullswater, Ambleside and Grasmere.
