Traditional porch with slate seats (perch while you remove muddy boots!). Cosy but bright lounge with Lakeland stone fireplace and deep-cushioned furnishings. Living room opens to delightful kitchen / dining room area with vaulted ceiling, solid fuel stove and french windows to the garden. Scenic terraced patio with furniture. Upstairs to two pretty bedrooms and bathroom. There is a stream at the bottom of the garden, so please take care with young children.

Location
Far Sawrey is a tranquil village to the west of Lake Windermere, with a magnificent church and local pub. The area on your doorstep is stuffed with excellent walking routes; no need to drive to a starting point.
From the village, the B5285 takes you north to Esthwaite Water then world-famous Hawkshead, or a short drive to the car ferry which crosses Lake Windermere regularly to reach bustling Bowness.
