The spacious accommodation is perfect for several couples, friends or families to explore this vibrant village and the waterborne activities of Bowness Bay. But it's also a joy for quality time at home; fabulous fireplaces warm the living areas, a superb dining room will entertain endless sociable evenings, and a piano brings even more fun to the proceedings. The bedrooms are delightful, particularly that four-poster treat, and outside a decked seating area is the perfect place to escape with a good book. All this and only a stroll to the most popular holiday destination in the Lake District.

Private parking for 3 cars in this very convenient location. Enter via a quarry slate porch with old church pew. The elegant living room is light but cosy, with leather furnishings on antique oak flooring. Separate dining room with additional fireplace, rustic wrought iron dining table and piano. A well-equipped separate kitchen leads out to the enclosed decked seating area. Upstairs to master king-size bedroom with mahogany four-poster, and the 'blue' double bedroom with cast iron bed. Upstairs again to the 3rd double bedroom, twin bedroom and house bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Location
This spacious Bowness self-catering property enjoys a peaceful location without compromising on convenience; the vibrant village centre and scenic shores of Lake Windermere are only a short stroll away. Bowness is a lively village with sophisticated shops, tempting cafes and an endless choice of acclaimed Lake District restaurants and traditional pubs. There are plenty of family attractions in Bowness; from the World of Beatrix Potter, to hire boats and lake cruises on Lake Windermere, to the Windermere Golf Club only a short distance outside the village.
From Bowness Pier, Windermere Lake Cruises depart regularly to both Ambleside and Lakeside. This is a great way to soak up the scenery, and explore these fabulous spots without taking your car. Touring the Lake District is a breeze from Bowness. Lake District bus tours depart from the village, and you're only a couple of miles from the A591 which is the famously scenic route into the heart of the Lakes.
