Private parking for 3 cars. Conservatory entrance with a wonderful view, entrance hall with cloakroom. Spacious, light and airy lounge with walls of windows overlooking the lake and deep-cushioned leather sofas. The dining room has beautiful views and the well-equipped kitchen is warmed through by the Aga. Upstairs are 3 beautiful bedrooms, with good views and co-coordinated linens; 1 with brand spanking new en-suite facility. There is also a luxurious main bathroom. Both have shower over bath. Outside, you have a garden and patio - furnished for meals and lazing al-fresco.

Location
The sophisticated Lake District village of Bowness is nestled on the eastern shores of beautiful Lake Windermere - England's largest lake. Boats peacefully come and go, the mesmerising scenery across the lake changes with the season, and the abundance of lake shore and waterborne activities will keep everybody entertained. Bowness high street is well-served with handy supermarkets, sophisticated boutique shops and a wide range of excellent eateries - all within easy reach of your chosen holiday home. The Royalty cinema plays the latest films on its 3-screens and the Old Laundry Theatre also has plenty of entertainment to offer.
Outdoor lovers will enjoy having easy access to many popular Lake District walking routes. Head up to Gummers How to admire stunning views of Lake Windermere, or take the car ferry across the lake to walk around attractive Hawkshead and explore Beatrix Potter country (the author's home is close to Hawkshead in the village of Near Sawrey). Grizedale Forest is easily accessible via the car ferry, and popular walking destinations including the Langdale Valley, Coniston and Grasmere are only manageable drives away.
