On warmer days, you'll love taking drinks and meals outside to the scenic sun terrace.

King-size bedroom on this level with luxury en-suite facility. Upstairs to the 2nd king-size bedroom, also with own luxury bathroom.

This lovely rural cottage stands in the picturesque Langdale Valley, with superb views of the surrounding fells. Set in the village of Chapel Stile, the self-catering Lake District cottage offers a peaceful location. But with many of the region's attractions are easily accessible, as are some of the gems found off the beaten path.
Located at the head of the Langdale Valley, Chapel Stile is only 4 miles from Ambleside and Lake Windermere, and all the attractions and entertainment they have to offer. Ambleside is a good place to stock up for self-catering, exploring cafes and even visiting historical sites. Or maybe you want to take a scenic cruise on one of the steamers from Ambleside to Lakeside or Bowness?
Chapel Stile village itself has a small shop, a cafe and an acclaimed Lake District country pub, The Wainwrights Inn. Stroll further into the Langdale Valley and you'll find the peaceful atmosphere and spectacular views continue... with a few more noteable pubs on the way.
This location is an obvious choice for a walking holiday in the Lake District. A hike to England's highest tarn, or to the spectacular Jake's Rake ridge, begin almost on your doorstep. The adjacent Wasdale and Borrowdale Valleys bring more superb routes within easy reach, and are traditional starting points for an ascent of Scafell Pike.
