Location
Lowick Green is located in open countryside, between Ulverston, Coniston and Lakeside at the southern tip of Lake Windermere. The area is wonderfully peaceful, with leisurely walks, Coniston or Windermere lake shore picnics and plenty of opportunities for manageable day trips elsewhere in the Lakes.
The house is a place to spend time rather than leave behind, but at the same time no journey will be too much of a hassle. From Lakeside or via Coniston, navigation is easy to Bowness, Windermere, Ambleside and the rest of the Lake District. Windermere Lake Cruises depart from Lakeside with stops at Bowness and Ambleside.
