Location
Ings is a small hamlet near Staveley, half way between Kendal and Windermere and scattered around the A591. The hamlet is only 2 miles away from Windermere village. The stretch of road is one of the country's most scenic, as well as providing easy access to the highlights of the Lake District.
Nearby Staveley is the gateway to the Kentmere Valley, with a thriving community of walkers and cyclists as well as a second local brewery to enjoy. Walking routes in the Kentmere Valley are well worth exploring.
Shops, facilities, cafes and restaurants are close at hand in Windermere village, and only a few miles further you'll find Bowness and the shores of Lake Windermere.
