Private parking for 2 cars, right outside the apartment. Enter to the cosy but bright lounge with character beams, deep-cushioned furnishings and a view over the water. Neat, well-equipped kitchen open to the dining area, which also has superb views. Spacious master double bedroom and 2nd bedroom with 4 ft bed. Modern, fresh shower room. Outside, you'll find magical riverside gardens and furnished patio overlooking the water.

Location
At the southern tip of Lake Windermere where the River Leven flows out, this Lakeside self-catering apartment takes you away from the crowds to one of the Lake District's most serene locations. Lakeside is a small hamlet at this southern end of Lake Windermere. It comprises a scattering of traditional Lakeland cottages and rural homes, close to Newby Bridge and very easily accessible from the M6 - bypassing the busier tourist routes.
Windermere Lake Cruises depart from Lakeside Pier. These elegant Windermere steamers ferry passengers to Bowness and Ambleside - a relaxed way to explore and admire the scenery without having to use your car. There are several popular Lake District family attractions in Lakeside. The Lakes Aquarium displays local freshwater creatures, right next to one end of the Lakeside-Haverthwaite Railway - take a ride on a fabulous old-fashioned steam train!
