A well-equipped kitchen opens onto a scenic dining area, which overlooks the river. Upstairs find the two bedrooms (master bedroom has characteristic vaulted ceiling and fabulous views) and the bathroom.

Despite the blissful privacy of this tranquil riverside retreat, you're still brilliantly placed for exploring the rest of the Lake District. A quick and easy drive on the A591 takes you to Windermere village, where you might enjoy an evening out or a spot of shopping. You're on route to Windermere lake and Bowness Bay (with plenty of restaurants, bars and a cinema), and also to Ambleside and Coniston. All the highlights of the Lakes are within easy reach.
