Private parking for 3 cars. Enter through porch and entrance hall to an elegant living room with open fire, cosy ambience and arched picture windows. A separate dining room also enjoys the views through charming original shutters - this room is ideal for sophisticated entertaining. Breakfast kitchen with plenty of space for good cooking and a family table. Victorian cloakroom/3rd WC. Upstairs to the bedrooms (2 king size, 1 twin) with wonderful countryside views. Two luxurious bathroom facilities (one en-suite to a bedroom), and a lovely day room / 4th bedroom with comfy sofa bed, TV and a view!
Secluded gardens, with a furnished patio, run into open countryside outside.

Location
Nestled between the tiny hamlets of Near Sawrey and Far Sawrey, this self-catering Lake District cottage is perfectly located for exploring the best of the Lakes. Standing between Hawkshead village and the western shores of Lake Windermere, the cottage provides easy access to both Hawkshead and Ambleside. Also, the supermarket, shops, restaurants and attractions of Bowness are easily accessible via the car ferry across the lake.
Outdoor lovers will relish the chance to explore the walking routes that criss-cross the area. Near Sawrey will also entice Beatrix Potter fans who will be able to vist Miss Potter's former home at Hill Top, in Near Sawrey. The house is now owned by the National Trust and open to the public. Hill Top is located just behind the Tower Bank Arms country pub, which featured in Beatrix Potter's 'Tales of Jemima Puddleduck'.
Nearby Esthwaite Water is known as one of England's finest trout fishing lakes, also offering pike fishing, coarse fishing and roach fishing for all ages at Esthwaite Water Trout Fishery.
Follow the B5285 to the west to arrive in Coniston, with its spectacular scenery and fine walking, including up the famous Coniston Old Man. Nearby Grizedale Forest is another popular spot for family fun, offering scenic wanders, cycle tracks and sculpture trails.
