Located on the eastern shores of Lake Windermere, the park offers all the delights of a lake shore location without straying too far from facilities and amenities in Windermere Village or Ambleside.
Close by in Windermere village, you'll find that Booths supermarket is a great place to stock up the kitchen, with a high quality range of local produce and all the daily essentials. It's right next to the headquarters of Lakeland Ltd - popular with any cooking fans! Windermere village also has a number of traditional Lakeland pubs, daytime cafes and quirky local shops. There are many Lake District family attractions in Bowness, which is very close to Windermere village and easily accessible by car or on foot.
