Only a stone's throw away is a superb country pub serving tempting bar meals and real ales and a short drive will bring you into popular destinations of Windermere and Bowness, alive with excellent restaurants and bars to tempt you out, while walks are in abundance straight from your doorstep.  The Old Barn is designed to provide a perfect holiday at any time of the year and help recharge those batteries.

The accommodation comprises: entrance hall with space for walking clobber; at this level are the two sumptuous bedrooms each with its own luxurious bathroom and each bedroom also boast a safe for that special present you have not yet given...Upstairs into the magnificent open plan living area and from here the views are simply wonderful.  The ceiling is vaulted displaying the 'A' frame oak beams and the original barn door leads you out into this hamlet.  Leather sofas help you relax by the fire and gaze out at the views.  The kitchen / dining area is very well equipped and also boasts the views.  A staircase leads to a galleried office / reading area with Wi-Fi connection for those who don't want to escape.  Outside is a detached raised patio, perfect for a glass or two after a hard day on the fells and with far reaching views towards Coniston Old man. Private parking for 2 plus a detached garage, perfect for storing mountain bikes and the like.
