Private parking 100 yards from the self-catering property, and a wander through the conservation area leads you up an incline to Boden Howe's small terrace of Lakeland houses and its colourful garden. Entrance hall leads to dining room with fabulous box bay window and panoramic views. Well-equipped kitchen with granite finishes and pantry. Upstairs to first floor lounge with scenic bay window and comfortable furnishings. Also on this level is the first double bedroom with separate bathroom. Find the king-size master double bedroom on the top floor, with luxury en-suite bathroom and another fabulous view.

With your self-catering property only a short stroll from Ambleside and Lake Windermere, you're perfectly placed to make the most of one of the Lake District's most sought-after self-catering holiday locations. Ambleside village is alive with interesting shops, tasty cafes, excellent restaurants and friendly nightlife. The village also has an excellent pizzeria and cinema. Wander down to Waterhead Pier and you can take a steamer journey the full length of Lake Windermere, with stops at bustling Bowness and peaceful Lakeside. Lots to do without even using your car!
