Enter into the large, modern breakfast kitchen with views to the orchard garden, which features a patio and raised decking area.
An inner hallway leads to the light, relaxing lounge with sumptuous sofas and woodburning stove. The dining room is made for entertaining, with a separate fireside sitting area. Upstairs to the four beautifully styled bedrooms, one king-size, two doubles and one twin, all with picture cottage windows and elegant furnishings. There are two house bathrooms, fit for long soaks after a day on the fells.

Location
This luxury self-catering cottage, in the Lyth Valley's village of Crosthwaite, is surrounded by glorious rural scenery but only a few miles from Lake Windermere, Bowness, the Windermere Golf Club and the A591 - you're main road route for exploring the Lake District. Crosthwaite is a small rural village, made up of scattered traditional Lake District cottages, country homes and a fine country pub, The Punch Bowl. The village lies between Kendal and Bowness, and is very easily accessible from the M6.
The surrounding Lyth valley is renowned for its Damson harvests, and if you visit in spring you'll be amazed by the damson blossom. Walks from your doorstep range from winding paths and lanes to more dramatically scenic walks along the top of Scout Scar and Whitbarrow Scar, for panoramic views across to the coast and neighbouring counties. Stride onto the the Furness Way; a famous coast-to-coast route across the Lake District via the Lyth Valley.

Drive only a few miles east and you'll reach Lake Windermere's shores and the village of Bowness. The vibrant Lakeland village has a range of sophisticated shops, useful supermarkets and delis, plus a range of family attractions. For evening entertainment, you'll find the Royalty Cinema, Old Laundry Theatre, pubs, bars and even a lake shore nightclub.
