Private parking for 1 car, right outside the property. Wander through the small, scenic garden to the entrance. Enter to the open plan living room with picture windows all around, a vaulted ceiling with wooden beams, leather furnishings and woodburning stove. The dining area and neat contemporary kitchen are open to the lounge area. An open staircase leads down to the romantic bedroom, with half-glazed stable door and Sanderson style brass bed. Small but luxurious en-suite bathroom. Outside, the garden has a small patio with furniture for meals al-fresco.

Perfectly located between Ambleside and Hawkshead, off the northern shores of Lake Windermere, this enchanting rural property provides an excellent base for a romantic Lake District holiday. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, you'll find famous Lake District walking routes such as Tarn Hows, Conison Old Man and the Langdale Pikes within a few minutes drive.
Ambleside village is only a short drive away, and your ideal stop off for stocking up the kitchen or picking up a few local treats. The cosmopolitan village centre boasts sophisticated shopping, lazy cafe culture and acclaimed Lake District restaurants such as The Glass House. You'll find access to Lake Windermere just outside the village centre at Waterhead Pier, where romantic cruises depart regularly to Bowness and Lakeside.
