Characterful, spacious living room with woodburning stove, superb views through picture windows and a stable door to the garden. The kitchen is open to the large dining room with picturesque bay window. Upstairs to the double bedroom and 2 single bedrooms, all with wonderful views, and the house bathroom with shower over bath. The large lawned gardens are perfect for play and furnished for al-fresco dining with spectacular views!

Location
This superb self-catering cottage in the Lyth Valley is perfectly placed for a relaxed Lake District holiday, surrounded by wonderful walking and cycling territory and close to the sleepy village of Crosthwaite at the north of the Lyth Valley. The scenic location is very convenient; there are several renowned country pubs in the area including the award-winning Punch Bowl Inn in Crosthwaite village.
Bowness and Lake Windermere are also only a short drive away, with numerous Lake District family attractions including the World of Beatrix Potter, mini golf by the lake, Windermere Golf Club and of course all the boating activities on Lake Windermere. From Bowness you'll find that day trips throughout the Lake District National Park are really easy to navigate. Take the car-ferry over the lake to explore Hawkshead and the home of Beatrix Potter, or venture north to the A591 and your main route to Ambleside, Grasmere and beyond.
Crosthwaite is also close to the historic market town of Kendal, which is well worth a visit. You'll find a wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants as well as entertainment for all ages at the Brewery Arts Centre.
