Park right outside the property with space for 2 cars. Enter into the spacious open plan kitchen / dining area, stylish and well-equipped with oak floor and patio doors leading to the decked veranda, garden and summerhouse. Parents please be vigilant around the stream. A couple of steps lead down to the large living room, with luxury leather furnishings and floor-to-ceiling glass window. Cloakroom / 2nd WC on this level. Upstairs to the gorgeous bedrooms with dressing rooms, and the large luxury house bathroom.

Location
At the heart of the Lakes, this contemporary self-catering property in Bowness provides the perfect base for a stress-free Lake District holiday. The property boasts a surprisingly peaceful and secluded location only a very short stroll from sophisticated shops, traditional pubs and excellent restaurants in Bowness village. Lake views, hire boats and Windermere Lake Cruises are found only a few steps down the road in Bowness Bay.
Bowness is one of the most popular villages in the Lake District; in part for its friendly atmosphere, family attractions and vibrant nightlife, but also for it's convenient location. While you can catch a Windermere steamer to Ambleside or Lakeside, the nearby A591 also provides easy journeys throughout the highlights of the Lake District. Follow it north to reach Windermere village, Ambleside, Rydal Water, historic Grasmere and beyond. Follow it south to reach Fell Foot Park for lake shore picnics and peaceful Lakeside, at the southern tip of the lake.
Windermere Golf Club is only a few miles away, on the way to the glorious Lyth Valley. This lush rural scene is well worth exploring during your stay, and is famous for its sophisticated Lake District gastropubs - don't miss the Mason's Arms at Strawberry Bank and The Punchbowl at Crosthwaite village.
