Glass and slate porch and marble tiled entrance hall. Upstairs to the living area with vaulted wooden beams and a wall of glass overlooking Lake Windermere. Luxurious furnishings, woodburning stove, mood lighting and large wall-mounted LCD TV. Separate dining area, served by an exceptional designer kitchen on the middle level, cloakroom and 5th WC. There are 2 bedroom suites on the middle level, and two on the lower level. Each boasts a luxurious en-suite bathroom and private balcony or patio. Spacious sauna on the lower level, and a mood-lit hot tub outside with superb lake view.

Location
On the northern shores of Lake Windermere, England's largest lake, Ambleside village is known locally as the 'gem in Lakeland's crown'. With a stunning backdrop of lake shore and majestic fells, the sophisticated village centre is also steeped with history and scattered with attractive traditional buildings. A popular base for walking in the Lake District, Ambleside is also simply a delightful place to while away a holiday.
You'll find contemporary shopping streets, packed with tempting eateries, fashionable clothing, delicatessens and local shops selling Lakeland produce. Stock up the kitchen or pick up a picnic at Lucy's of Ambleside - a fabulous deli stocked with interesting local and international goods.
For evening entertainment and special occasions, you'll find plenty of choice right here in the village. There are several acclaimed Lake District restaurants, such as The Glass House in a beautifully converted saw mill.
