Parking permit provided for car park 100 yards from the cottage (a real bonus in Ambleside!). Entrance leads to modern, well-equipped kitchen with access to small, furnished suntrap patio area. There is also an outhouse, useful for storing bikes. Elegant open plan living area with oak style floors, woodburning stove, deep-cushioned sofas and large dining table (separated from the lounge area by an attractive central staircase). Staircase leads to the king-sized double bedroom with luxury shower room.
