Parking in the nearby car park at The Belsfield Hotel, the short walk will allow you to observe some of the bars and restaurants you may later wish to frequent. External steps lead to the second floor entrance, the entrance hall leads through to the fully equipped kitchen and also to the lounge, which has a cosy open fire and sumptuous sofas, the dining table overlooks the pedestrian street below. The romantic kingsize bedroom, is furnished impeccably and positioned across from the bathroom with bath and power shower.

You're only a short walk from Bowness village, attractions, evening entertainment, and the boating activities of Bowness Bay. Windermere Golf Club is also with very easy reach. Bowness is a popular Lake District holiday destination on the eastern shores of Lake Windermere. With many contemporary shops, supermarket and amenities, you'll find everything you could need during your self-catering stay in the Lakes.
There are a number of family attractions in Bowness itself, including the World of Beatrix Potter, mini golf and tennis on 'The Glebe' and of course the delights of the lake shore itself. Stroll to Bowness Pier and you'll find power boats and row boats for hire, as well as the famous Lake Windermere steamers. Windermere Lake Cruises depart regularly to Ambleside village and Lakeside. At Lakeside you'll find the fascinating Lakes Aquarium and one end of the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway experience.
For a special meal out, try one of the many traditional pubs and contemporary restaurants in Bowness. Or head east a few miles into the lush Lyth Valley - an area renowned for its fabulous Lake District gastropubs.
