The gardens and patios with wonderful vantage points surround the property and you park privately right outside. The magnificent living / dining room is flooded with light and has sumptuous furnishings set on oak flooring by the woodburner, designed for relaxation; a second sitting room also displays a woodburning stove and with wonderful views towards Loughrigg Fell. The adorable kitchen has everything where Nigella herself would feel at home and there is a glass viewing area to the original well. On this level is a cloakroom / 5th WC / wash basin. Upstairs to the gorgeous bedrooms with stunning outlooks and bathroom facilities; 2 king size, 1 double and 1 twin; 2 en-suites as well as a separate bathroom and separate shower room.

Ambleside is a historic Lakeland village on the northern shores of Lake Windermere. Stroll to Waterhead Pier, just outside the village centre, and you can take a Windermere Lake Cruise to explore Bowness or Lakeside - a great way for the family to explore without any stressful car journeys! There are several historic attractions in Ambleside - the Armitt museum takes a peek into the industrial history of the area, and one of William Wordsworth's family homes can be visited nearby at Rydal Mount & Gardens.
