This Listed Cottage is as pretty and quaint as one could wish located in a peaceful setting yet only a short walk fom Coniston village.
Double-fronted and traditional, with creeper cladding and front door sheltered by a porch, it stands on a tiny looping lane near the northern outskirts of the village and overlooks the green and graceful valley at the head of Coniston Lake. Inside, it is characterful and spacious downstairs with plenty of beams while upstairs, tradition has been tempered in favour of comfort but without spoiling it at all.
The accommodation comprises; a small pretty sitting out area, with path leading to the entrance porch and then into the cosy living / dining room, overlooked by old oak beams and with warming open fire together with views across the fields from the window seat. The modern kitchen is well equipped for everything you may need. Upstairs to the two bedrooms, complete with window seats to enjoy the wonderful views. Lastly the modern bathroom ensures a little luxury after you return from a hard day on our fells...
