The cast iron open fire with oak surround, the beams, the picture windows complete with window seats and the beautiful kitchen and bathroom all combine to give this cosy cottage a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Within Near Sawrey are Hill Top, once the home of Beatrix Potter and The Tower Bank Arms, a National Trust pub serving tempting meals and real ales. There are many lovely walks straight from the door of this cottage, which is surrounded by beautiful Lakeland countryside. Hawkshead, one of the prettiest villages in the Lake District, is only a couple of miles away. Lake Windermere with the car ferry is also only a short distance away.
Croft End is a much loved cottage regularly used by its owners and has many personal touches. The accommodation comprises; a delightful lounge with beams, inset down lights, a window seat and deep cushioned sofas arranged around the open fire. The lounge is open to the dining room and a cleverly positioned 'king post' beam separates it from the beautifully fitted kitchen. The kitchen has oak units and is equipped with everything you require. A stable door takes you to a small patio area. Upstairs there are two pretty bedrooms, a double bedroom with two deep silled windows, a second cosy bedroom with three quarter bed and also a modern, fresh bathroom.
