Ambleside is but a few minutes stroll away, teeming with excellent restaurants, local shops and country pubs; Lake Windermere is also very close by at Waterhead and walks in abundance are right on your doorstep. The accommodation comprises: traditional slated entrance porch leading into a spacious hall and an excellent 'boot room', usefully fitted out to hold all your outdoor walking gear. Ground floor shower room with washbasin and WC. Marvellous farmhouse kitchen, equipped with everything you could require and complete with a substantial dining table. A bright and spacious lounge with a lovely outlook through a picture window, boasts beautiful oak beams and furniture, deep leather sofas and an impressive fireplace with a large real flame 'wood-burning' stove. Leading off the lounge is the sunny conservatory; ideal for lazy days or enjoying the spectacular sunset over Loughrigg whilst you plan another day on the fells. It also provides access out to your private patio where you can relax on the garden furniture and enjoy a drink at the end of the day. The ground floor twin bedroom shares the beautiful view.
From the main entrance hall, a staircase leads to the first floor with two stunning kingsize bedrooms. The cosy, shuttered second bedroom has its own contemporary shower room.
