The wealth of small shops, pubs and eating out places will tempt you out each night and the wide variety of excellent walks, which surround the valley will mean that once you have parked your car, you may never need use it again. The car ferry, which leaves regularly, can easily reach Bowness and Windermere and Ambleside is a short picturesque drive away. Hilltop, once the home of Beatrix Potter is a must and if you are looking for a cottage holiday in a 'picture postcard' village with enough life to keep you amused, then you have found it.
The accommodation comprises - entrance hall with cloaks cupboard for walking clobber, cozy living/dining room with relaxing sofas and beams. Well planned and equipped kitchen. Upstairs to the three bedrooms and bathroom. Garage parking for one car with space for bikes, etc and a further space for a second car.
