Here at the Southern tip of Lake Windermere, walks are in abundance straight from your doorstep and attractions including ‘ Aquarium of the Lakes’ are but a few hundred yards away. Steamers depart from Lakeside on a regular basis taking you to popular destinations such as Bowness and Ambleside. The hamlet of Lakeside boasts a hotel and restaurant with bar and lakeside terrace together with another bar and restaurant to tempt you out on foot. Beech Lea is modern and bright with thoughtful touches and a warming open fire, making it a perfect holiday home for a break at any time of the year.
