This sophisticated yet traditional double fronted Lakeland cottage resides in a sleepy hamlet at Lakeside, near the Southern tip of England's largest lake, Windermere. Lakeside is home to the famous 'Aquarium of the Lakes' and Windermere Lake Cruises depart on a regular basis for Bowness and Ambleside.
As soon as you step foot inside Low Mill Cottage you know you have chosen well, the traditional slate and wood flooring blend effortlessly with 'state of the art' 21st century indulgences including the leather suite, antique style distressed French furnishings and all those little touches including stylish colours of ‘Farrow and Ball’. Walks are in abundance from the cottage including the hidden 'High Dam', an undiscovered 'Tarn Hows', only a few minutes stroll away. The area is rich with tempting country pubs and yet the warming woodburning stove soon draws you back to Low Mill Cottage.
The accommodation comprises; after parking your car you approach the rear of the cottage through the patio/garden, an ideal and sunny spot to enjoy meals 'al fresco'; the kitchen is modern, housing everything you may need. The entrance hall is laid to Lakeland slate with cloakroom and useful boot airing cupboard. The beautiful light and airy lounge/dining room has patio doors out to the garden, chic furnishings and the woodburner. Upstairs to the 3 bedrooms; each individual yet each attractively furnished with coordinated linens and fabrics. The bathroom is designed for long soaks after a hearty walk. One small pet only.
