Only a couple of miles from bustling Bowness village and a few minutes stroll from Lake Windermere, we found this sophisticated hideaway to be a dreamy retreat in a magnificent setting and perfect for a holiday at any time of the year. Step inside to be drawn to the magnificent picture walls of glass, relax in 21st century life, and soak up the atmosphere. Here you will see true Lakeland, deer will watch over you and red squirrels live in your grounds. Walks are in abundance from your doorstep and only a few minutes walk will lead you to a vantage point where the views over Lake Windermere are simply breathtaking. A few tempting country pubs are close by and lively Bowness is stocked full of life. If searching for somewhere truly special for a peaceful rejuvenating getaway, then Tarn View Cottage is for you. If fishing is your fancy then the tarn over the lane from this cottage, Ghyll Head Tarn, is stocked with trout every fortnight and is available to fish all year with rainbow trout weighing in at 18lbs! The accommodation comprises: covered entrance porch and entrance hall with tiled floor. The wonderful lounge has a view to die for, beautifully finished and with warming woodburning stove for cosy nights in. The dining kitchen has everything you need with patio doors leading out to the raised sun terrace and that view. Both bedrooms are sumptuous with co-ordination and two luxurious bathroom facilities.
