The attractive substantial Lakeland cottage nestles in a quiet backwater only a short stroll from bustling Windermere village and Lake Windermere. Newly renovated and released for summer '08, we think you will agree this is a stylish holiday home, handy for everything the Lake District has to offer.
Both villages of Windermere and Bowness are stocked full of excellent restaurants, bars and pubs to tempt you out and only 200 yards away is The Brookside Inn with gently flowing brook, hence this aptly named “Above the Brook”. If looking for space and contemporary comfort in a peaceful yet central setting, we think you will agree Above the Brook is perfect.
The accommodation comprises: entrance hall; bright lounge with relaxing leather sofas; dining room open to a well equipped kitchen with utility and access to the rear yard with furniture and barbeque. Upstairs to the first floor with 2 sophisticated double bedrooms; one with en-suite and there is a games room with Air Hockey table and more to keep you amused. The second floor displays a king size bedroom and a twin, both with a pleasant outlook. The lanes provide ample parking right outside.
