Step foot inside to instantly soak up the feeling of luxury - an atmospheric calm sets the mood - this is a place to spend precious time together, relax and totally rejuvenate. Here olde worlde character and charm blends effortlessly with 21 st century indulgences, warm and cosy with that something extra special. Only a few minutes stroll will bring you into sleepy Chapel Stile, a beautiful hamlet with excellent restaurant / pub, general store with cafe and stunning church. Busier destinations such as Ambleside are only a short drive away but for those seeking the quiet life in walking paradise, you will never need move your car once parked. Built in 1860, providing quality cottages for the workers of the nearby former slate quarry it is easy to see why all who come to Honeypot Cottage only leave longing to return. The accommodation comprises: entrance into the beautiful lounge with magnificent views, original slate floor with sumptuous rug, leather furnishings and warming woodburning stove. The designer kitchen / dining room displays "shaker" style with everything wrapped up in granite and a back door leading to direct access to the fell. The luxurious bathroom is on this level - ideal for long soaks after a hard day on the majestic mountains. Upstairs to the romantic king size bedroom complete with French antique 'Victorian Dreams' brass bed and here the mountains appear so close you can almost reach out and touch them; also as the night draws in you can close beautiful oak shutters, only to re-open to wonder at that view again in the morning. The second bedroom is beautifully furnished with clever stacked bed providing 2 full size single beds.
