This is Garth Court, with its stylish, split level lounge/kitchen layout, a pretty, en-suite bedroom with king-size bed and with your own, private entrance off the courtyard via a few steps up to a small balcony. The double entrance doors open up to give you wonderful views all around - a great place for a summer breakfast or a quiet spot of relaxation, just watching the sheep in the fields or the tantalising glimpses of the lake and the mountains. In the summer, the courtyard is a riot of colour literally with 'roses round the door'.
Garth Court is in the sleepy village of Near Sawrey, famous for its link with Beatrix Potter but equally loved for its reassuringly peaceful pace of life, yet near enough to picturesque Hawkshead, Bowness-on-Windermere and most of the attractions of the Lake District to make it a wonderful holiday location.
Garth Court has been extremely tastefully appointed with high quality finishes so that it achieves a space, both inside and outside , which is both relaxing on the eye as well as the spirit and offers a place to simply switch off from everyday life and soak in the beauty and space of a superb country setting.
The accommodation comprises: double French window entrance via a few steps to a small balcony opening up into the lounge area of a split-level room, full of light and two steps down to a well-equipped kitchen/dining area, all stylishly designed. A small hallway leads to a pretty bedroom with a king-size bed, a lovely view over the courtyard and an en-suite with a large shower. Parking is in the ample forecourt of the main house, with access from there to the lovely gardens, which have breathtaking views across Esthwaite Water and Grizedale Forest to the mountains.
