The farmhouse kitchen has it all including an Aga, said to be the heart of any home and open to a dining / 2nd reception room with patio doors out to the garden, the dining room is perfect for gatherings and good wine with excellent food and conversation late into the evening. On the ground floor is a cloakroom with the 3rd WC and wash basin. Upstairs to the three simply magnificent bedrooms, each of which should be featured in a glossy magazine, one with view towards Grasmere water and all with the most comfy of beds designed for perfect night's sleep. The bathroom facilities are Victorian luxury and ideal for long soaks in the roll top bath after a day on the fells. There is an office area with Wi-Fi connection for those who need to keep in contact or who naturally feel inspired.
