The Swan Spa Windermere

At the southern tip of Windermere, on the tranquil shores of the River Leven, this original 18th century coaching inn has been given a new lease of life.

A multimillion pound refurbishment has created a luxurious and distinctly contemporary retreat. We’ve chosen the Swan’s fabulous pool, gym and spa as an ideal choice for visitors to Lakeside, Newby Bridge, Bowland Bridge and Coniston.

For those staying elsewhere, we would recommend a visit as part of your day on the lake; sample some local ale or a first-class meal on the water’s edge while you’re here. You can even arrive by boat at Lakeside Pier! The 10m pool is the hotel’s centrepiece, surrounded by hot tub, sauna and steam room. The gym offers top-class equipment, with experienced staff on hand and pamper treatments available.

Opening times: Weekdays 7am – 9pm and Weekends 8am-8pm – No child restrictions.
