Business Services Manager

Job description:

Spearhead the services of Lakelovers business operations, develop and oversee a team to deliver organisational objectives. Increase company portfolio, providing a high quality, multi-channel service proposition to Lakelovers key customer groups (holidaymakers and property owners) and maximising opportunities for sales and revenue.

Digital Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a highly-motivated individual, able to work well under your own initiative; you will also be very comfortable working within a dynamic team.

Your role will be to assist in analysing, developing, implementing, growing and reporting a wide range of Lakelovers Digital & Offline marketing. You will us packages such as Google Analytics, WordPress, Microsoft Office and a variety of third-party specialised reporting tools. You must be able to pick things up quickly and learn new skills – a learning and progressive attitude is Important.

You must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of analytical and marketing ability and have a “can do” attitude, as well as enjoy seeing projects to completion. You must be a good communicator and enjoy supporting, helping and working with other people, both within the marketing team and within the rest of the company and beyond.

Job description

You will both support the Marketing department in delivering various campaigns, develop existing customers and drive new business and after suitable training, will have direct responsibilities for analysing, reporting and improving on a range of key company performance metrics. Duties will include assisting with content writing, design/wording email campaigns, updating websites and providing a range of administrative support.

Our company originated in the Lake District in 1977 as a holiday letting and full management service provider agency. The company currently operates from 3 office locations and employs both directly and indirectly over 150 people with a current portfolio of over 450 properties within the Lake District. The business has expanded through organic growth over the years but the directors are always looking for acquisition extensions to our business either locally or nationwide. Our award-winning company is a first choice for self-catering properties in the Lake District and our success story is based on quality deliverance in everything that we do.

Lakelovers are locally based and employs local staff who are knowledgeable and passionate about the area in which they live and work.

Every holiday cottage offered by our company has been individually selected and each of our portfolio has the assurance of a Visit England grading, so that all of our customers can be confident in their holiday.

Sales & Customer Service Assistant (Roles Available in Windermere & Keswick)

We’re looking for confident and dynamic individuals to join our Sales & Customer Service team. With experience in sales and service delivery you’ll be ideally placed as the first point of contact for Lakelovers holidaymakers. The ideal candidates will be resilient and determined with a keen focus on delivering results and providing best-in-class customer service.
Is this you? If you like talking to people. Meeting their requirements and responding to their queries this could be the position for you.. It’s a very varied role – we never know what question we will get when we pick up the phone (!) – but one of utmost importance for the business in securing bookings and answering our customer questions.

THE PERSON

This role will entail working Saturdays & some Sundays on a rota basis.

We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and attention to detail and this role is the foundation for those values. You will need to be smart and personable, reliable, flexible, perceptive, discrete, diplomatic, driven and able to deal with all types of people and situations.

Lakelovers Housekeeping Co-ordinator

Full & Part Time Positions Available

Lakelovers are currently recruiting for an organised, customer –orientated Housekeeping coordinator who has excellent planning abilities to support the housekeeping manager with the coordination of cleaning schedules for a number of holiday cottages and dedicated team of cleaners across the Lake District

You will be working for one of the Lake Districts leading holiday accommodation providers situated at our Maintenance / Housekeeping offices in Windermere. The housekeeping coordinator will play an integral role in ensuring holiday properties are services and cleaned in readiness for holiday arrivals. You will liaise closely with the property owners as well as 3rd party maintenance teams, suppliers and of course our cleaners to ensure any maintenance issues are rectified and the property is cleaned to our high standards

KEYDUTIES

*Regular property checks, recording any issues on the relevant check list

*Collation of good housekeeping reports

*Monitoring of inventory items within the properties and replacing if necessary

*Plan and arrange the weekly cleaning rota

*Provision of Week end on call during peak periods

*Weekend working essential

*Ensure all housekeeping admin is up to date E.g.: Property checks, Emails, reports and inventory purchases

*Monitoring and recording deliveries and stock dispense through to invoicing

*Assisting with the cleaning of properties from time to time

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Due to the nature of this role, a flexible approach to working days and times to cater to the variations in customer demand and business operations is required.

Weekend Self-Employed Cleaners

Self-employed cottage cleaners required – Experience is preferred although full training will be provided.

Weekend Employed Cleaners

£8.00 per Hour plus Mileage Allowance

Employed cleaners required – Experience is preferred although full training will be provided.
Applicants must be physically fit and work to a high standard.
Own transport essential due to remote location of some of our properties.

Fridays and Saturdays – Work may also available on other days of the week.
Average hours of work 10am-3pm/4pm.
Starting rate £8 p/h on an employed basis.
Holiday pay entitlement, mileage allowance paid.
