Lakelovers Housekeeping Co-ordinator

Full & Part Time Positions Available

Lakelovers are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, organised and customer–orientated Housekeeping Co-ordinator who has excellent planning abilities to support the housekeeping manager with the supervising and arranging of cleaning schedules for our quality holiday cottages throughout the Lake District.

Working for one of the Lake District’s leading holiday accommodation providers in either our Keswick or Windermere offices, the housekeeping co-ordinator will play an integral role in ensuring our quality holiday properties are serviced and cleaned in readiness for arrivals. You will liaise closely with our property owners and holidaymakers as well as our service teams, suppliers and of course, our dedicated cleaners to ensure any issues are swiftly identified and rectified in order for our excellent standards of presentation to be met at all times.

KEYDUTIES

*Regular property checks and accurate recording of findings

*Collation of good housekeeping reports

*Planning and arranging the weekly cleaning rota

*Updating housekeeping administration

*Monitoring and recording deliveries, inventory items and stock control

*Assisting with the cleaning of properties from time to time

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

*You are a disciplined, results orientated individual with a methodical approach to your workload

*You deliver excellent customer service

*You have excellent verbal and written communication

*You have the ability to plan your work appropriately to meet business demand

*You have a keen eye for detail

*You work well on your own initiative but equally well as part of a busy team

*Experience in supervising people is desirable

*You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

*A full, clean driving licence as travel will be required

*You have a flexible attitude to working hours and are available to work every Saturday

Weekend Self-Employed Cleaners

Self-employed cottage cleaners required – Experience is preferred although full training will be provided.
Applicants must be physically fit and work to a high standard.
Own transport essential due to remote location of some of our properties.

Weekend Employed Cleaners

£8.00 per Hour plus Mileage Allowance

Employed cleaners required – Experience is preferred although full training will be provided.
Applicants must be physically fit and work to a high standard.
Own transport essential due to remote location of some of our properties.

Fridays and Saturdays – Work may also available on other days of the week.
Average hours of work 10am-3pm/4pm.
Starting rate £8 p/h on an employed basis.
Holiday pay entitlement, mileage allowance paid.

Lakelovers Maintenance Controller

Full Time

Lakelovers are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and organised Maintenance /Controller Administrator who has excellent planning, admin and co-ordination abilities to provide support to our maintenance and housekeeping teams.

Working for one of the Lake District’s leading holiday accommodation providers in our flagship Windermere office, the Maintenance Administrator/Controller will play an integral role in providing essential administration and, on occasion, practical support to the service teams ensuring that properties are effectively maintained, all repairs carried out in a timely manner to the highest standard and that invoicing for works carried out are accurately created and recorded.

KEYDUTIES

*To lead and prioritise a busy team

*Accurate and timely invoicing for works carried out and collating of reports

*Ordering goods and stock control, in and out

*Monitoring and recording deliveries

*Monitoring and updating inventories

*Updating owners and holidaymakers on the progress of repairs

*Providing practical support on occasion to the maintenance and housekeeping teams as required

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

*You are a disciplined, results orientated individual with a methodical approach to your workload

*You deliver outstanding customer service

*You are able to prioritise and lead a busy team

*You have excellent verbal and written communication

*You have the ability to carry out minor repairs as and when required

*You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (in house training given on our own bespoke systems)

*You have a flexible attitude to working hours and are available to work every Saturday
