The good weather continues! It’s good to get out and about and dust off those winter cobwebs! Now our days are officially longer than our nights it means we have more time to cram in all those fantastic activities we dreamed of over winter! Music in the Lakes
For those music lovers amongst you an exciting new festival “Bowness Bay Blues” is happening over the Easter period. The event is held over 3 days starting on the 30th March till 1st April 2012. Tickets can be bought as an option of 3 day one day or even single events. Tickets can be purchased at the tourist information centre. Topping the bill on Friday night will be harmonica maestro; Paul Lamb & the King Snakes with their red-hot brand of blues, boogie and swing. Saturday’s headliner will be blues diva Connie Lush five times voted Best British Female Vocalist by readers of Blues in Britain magazine. The Sunday highlight will be the dynamic young band Jon Amor Blues Group that have been captivating new fans all over Europe with the raw energy of their sound.
