In a really difficult start to the year, we’ve come up with 10 Things to do in the Outdoors,...
This year, celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Beatrix Potter’s Birthday, 150 limited-edition ceramic eggs will be hidden around the Lake District, for this one day event on Saturday 9th April 2016.
The adventure starts with an interactive Google map and clues which you receive when you register to take part online. The map will appear blank until the clues go live at 10am on the day of the hunt!
There are lots of eggs to find this year, but to avoid disappointment why not pack some of your own choccie eggs for little ones to hunt down!
Top prize is a week’s stay at our very own 4* Acorn Cottage in Grasmere.
If you can’t make the event, follow the progress of the egg hunters on twitter @peterrabbiteggs where pictures of the eggs and their lucky seekers will be posted.
A word from a very excited Mum, Bronwyn:
We’ve had so much fun taking part in the egg hunt over the past few years, it’s a fantastic family day out. To win such a fabulous prize really made the day extra special and we can’t wait to stay at Acorn Cottage, it looks amazing!
Congratulations to Lucia, Lewis and their Grandparents who won the World of Beatrix Potter 2016 ‘Where is Peter Rabbit’ Treasure Hunt, bagging themselves a lovely, luxury holiday away with Lakelovers. We can’t wait to see some holiday snaps. . . #IAMALAKELOVER
Lucia and Lewis join their parents to enjoy a fabulous week’s holiday at Lakelovers 4 star Gold Award holiday home, Acorn Cottage in the chocolate box village of Grasmere.
