So to celebrate International Picnic day on Saturday, June 18, we\u2019ve put together 8 of our favourite picnic spots, so you know places to visit in the Lake District<\/p>\n<p>So, the next time the sun hints at glimmering through the clouds and you want a bit of peace and quiet or somewhere for the kids to roam \u2013 and well just be kids \u2013 here\u2019s a nudge in the right direction for a successful al fresco day out.<\/p>\n<p>There are lots of Lake District places to visit for a wonderful picnic, but we thought we\u2019d share with you our top 8 places.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Where to visit in the Lake District<\/strong><strong> for a great picnic<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3>FELLFOOT PARK<\/h3>\n<p>There\u2019s loads of places to roll out the rug at Fell Foot Park \u2013 including by the shore of Windermere or by the children\u2019s play area \u2013 and with breath-taking views down the lake and across to the mountains, you won\u2019t half have a bad view either.<\/p>\n<p>If you are thinking what to do in the Lake District for a full day with the kids \u2013 this is a great spot.
