Our fave Sunday strolls\u00a0in the stunning Lake District<\/h3>\n

November is such a spectacular\u00a0time to visit the Lake District.\u00a0The trees and bracken-covered fells and are in full Autumn display. Walking routes and popular attractions are all pretty quiet and drizzle outside makes a fireside pint all the more\u00a0cosy.<\/p>\n

We feel like folding out\u00a0an\u00a0OS map and planning\u00a0a\u00a0relaxing Sunday stroll in the\u00a0Lakes. Hope you join us! Here\u2019s 5 of our fave walks in the Lake District.<\/p>\n

1.) Friars Crag, Keswick<\/span><\/h3>\n

A short walk from Keswick centre for all abilities and John Ruskin\u2019s most\u00a0loved\u00a0viewing point, looking out over Derwentwater. At this time of year, this view is quite magical. Warm up after this pleasant stroll in the Theatre by the Lake cafe.<\/p>\n

2.) Loughrigg, Ambleside<\/span><\/h3>\n

One of the most famous fells in the Lake District, mainly due to its location in the heart of the Central Lake District fell range, this walk rewards walkers with 360 degree views from the heart of the National Park. Enjoy a post walk pint in the Badger Bar, Glen Rothay Hotel.<\/p>\n

3.) Skelwith Bridge, Ambleside<\/span><\/h3>\n

A linear, pram and wheel-chair friendly walk taking\u00a0in an iconic Lake District bridge and impressive waterfall that is all the more alluring at in Autumn following heavy rainfall. The highly regarded vegetarian cafe, Chesters by the River is a popular choice for lunch following this walk.<\/p>\n

4.) Helm Crag, Grasmere<\/span><\/h3>\n

Also known as the Lion & the Lamb, the unusual summit rock formation on this walk is great for enticing kids into bagging their first Lake District fell. The Jumble Room in Grasmere is the place to head to for a warm welcome, entrancing\u00a0music and delicious food.<\/p>\n

5.)\u00a0Castle Crag, Borrowdale<\/span><\/h3>\n

A true Lake District walk of volcanic rocky outcrops and dramatic viewpoints. Julia Bradbury\u2019s \u201cfavourite walk with a view\u201d !<\/p>\n

Celebrity\u2019s are certainly not immune to the magnetic draw of the Lake District \u2013 here are a few who have recently enjoyed a break in the Lakes. Rain or shine, there are always smiles aplenty when visiting the Lake District!<\/p>\n
