{"id":2389,"date":"2021-02-05T13:10:50","date_gmt":"2021-02-05T13:10:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lakelovers.co.uk\/blog\/?p=2389"},"modified":"2021-02-05T13:10:50","modified_gmt":"2021-02-05T13:10:50","slug":"sharing-our-winter-wonderland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lakelovers.co.uk\/blog\/sharing-our-winter-wonderland\/","title":{"rendered":"Sharing our Winter Wonderland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><i>We know you can\u2019t get to the Lakes again right now, so we\u2019ve put together our Winter Lakes Magazine, to transport you here, whilst you stay warm and cosy at home.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span class=\"s1\"><i> <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Winter is a magical time, hopefully, we will enjoy blue skies and white snowfall or sharp frosts, but we are realistic!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We know that heavy rain, strong winds and storms are often on the horizon and the Lake District, has experienced its share of dramatic weather over the years.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>But when we get those blue skies, white fell-top days, they are hard to beat.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Your face glows with the winter chill, and the skies seem to go on forever.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>January and February also bring hope \u2013 snowdrops and daffodils start to peek through, the trees start to awake from their dormant slumber with just the whisper of buds growing; the days get a little bit lighter, the birds start to explore nesting places, and we can feel Spring around the corner. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">We all need some hope this year especially, so wrap up warm, hunker down and be inspired by our Winter selection of inspirational ideas. You\u2019ll discover interesting people, ideas for walks and places to add to your \u2018to-do\u2019 list when you can visit again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Grab a mulled wine, a hot chocolate or a local ale, and imagine you\u2019re in one of our cosy pubs, dozing by the fire.
