Congratulations to our walking team!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A huge well done to the Lakelovers<\/a> and Lake District Lodge Holidays<\/a> t<\/span>eam, Jo, Gaynor, Romany and Ellie who walked just short of 22 miles on Saturday 11th May from Coniston to Barrow in Furness, to raise money for three amazing charities.<\/p>\n

Thousands of people take part in this annual walking challenge, (the original route, Keswick to Barrow is now in its 57th year and still going strong) raising money for hundreds of charities, locally and nationally. It was tough going in the heat, but the blisters were worth the \u00a3541 that the team raised, which will now be evenly split between the three chosen charities below<\/p>\n

Ronald McDonald House Charity<\/a><\/div>\n

We are pleased to announce as the Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association is the Lakes official charity partner for 2024, our sister company Sykes Holiday Cottages will double the amount raised, which means we raised \u00a3360 for LDSAMRA.<\/div>\n
